The design for Bauble was born from sketches I created during my time at GIA—the Gemological Institute of America—where I studied jewelry design. The inspiration came from an afternoon in Balboa Park, San Diego, when we design students were asked to capture the park’s abundance of shapes—its architecture, flowers, and the richness of nature in all its forms.

Bauble emerged from that experience and evolved into a piece that carries my love for my second hometown, San Diego—a place that will always be special to me and a constant source of inspiration.
